We are off today to Borneo then to Australia. A bit of a family adventure (although I do hope to pick up some birds on the way !!).
The last few weeks have been exceptionally busy, mainly on the domestic front with the girls final weeks at school, the Venice trip and we are getting work done on a Barn which requires more than a bit of attention , so any local birding has taken a back seat. I've counted and re-counted my year list so far and it frustratingly stands at 996 !.
Will see how I get on updating a blog as we go, although photo's may have to wait as my attempts to get the mobile technology to do everything I need has so far failed.
